Open Pine Editor

Click "Pine Editor" tab at the bottom of any TradingView chart.

Paste the script

Copy either indicator. Clear the editor, paste the full script, click Save.

Add to chart

Click "Add to chart" — loads as a clean overlay indicator.

Set correlated ticker

For NQ: set smt_ticker to ES1!. For gold: SI1!. For BTC: ETHUSDT.

Enable MTF FVGs

In settings, toggle show_2m, show_3m, or show_5m. Best on 1m chart.

Set up alerts

Right-click indicator name → Add Alert → pick from 10 conditions.

Multi-Timeframe FVG — How It Works

2m FVGBest on 1m chart

Bull: 2m candle[0].low > candle[2].high. Detected the bar after the 2m candle closes. Shows gaps the market left in 2-minute flow.

3m FVGBest on 1m–2m chart

3-minute FVGs are broader — show institutional flow on the 3m chart. Good for locating swing-level imbalances.

5m FVGBest on 1m–4m chart

Most popular MTF choice. 5m FVGs are significant enough to hold as support/resistance. Works on any chart below 5m.

Chart recommendation: Use ICT Clean Pro v4 on a 1m chart to see all three MTF FVGs simultaneously. On a 2m chart you can see 3m and 5m FVGs. On a 3m chart, only 5m FVGs are accessible. Pine Script only supports request.security on higher or equal timeframes.
